So almost two years ago, I traded in my Jeep for a Chrysler Crossfire. Dad & I drove to Daytona to get it and I remember crying my eyes out as we drove away because I knew I would miss it. :( Not even a couple months into having the Crossfire, my headlight went out, my top was completely sliced in a parking garage, and I had to replace a tire. Headlight = $75. New convertible top = $4158. ONE tire = $627. 4 months later, my ignition went out, so my key would be stuck in my car for hours upon hours before it was released. The parts of my car are made by Mercedes, so for a new ignition piece add another $500. I figured it wasn’t going to break anymore than it had, so I decided to keep it. About 2 months ago my tires felt weird so I took it to get looked at. EVERY. SINGLE. TIRE. had been busted. My tires that were one $627 a piece were now $702 a piece. Adding up to about $2800 for just four. I decided not to get Goodyear & got some off the wall low profile ones, they work just as fine, but still add another $843.
The Crossfire royally fucked me over since I’ve had it. I remember posting on Tumblr a couple years ago that I was SO excited to have it & everyone was telling me no. Well to those of you who told me no, YOU WERE RIGHT. You told me so, you told me so. I know the drill.
I’m going to pick up the Jeep listed in the URL tomorrow after work, possibly. If I like it, then I’m getting it, if not…. HELP ME FIND A CAR THAT WONT BREAK.
